The French Marine Industry Association (GICAN) coordinates the French presence at PACIFIC 2017. This year's French Pavilion gathers over twenty companies making it the largest French Pavilion ever built since the creation of the Exhibition. This significant presence reflects the ambition to strengthen existing relationships between our two countries. The French-Australian cooperation relies on a strong international and regional commitment to ensure the security in the Pacific region, notably thanks to the sound collaboration between our Navies. The bilateral cooperation is growing significantly in the naval industry sector for purposes of designing and building the twelve Future Submarines.

PACIFIC 2017 is the ideal opportunity to hold a French-Australian seminar. Save the date and join us on Tuesday October 3rd, from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm, Room E3.9 Level 3 Conference, ICC Sydney. Senior keynote speakers will share their views on the French-Australian cooperation. VADM Timothy BARRETT, ADM Christophe PRAZUCK, RADM Gregory SAMMUT, Brigadier Guillaume de GARIDEL-THORON, His Excellency Christophe PENOT, and GICAN President Herve GUILLOU are expected to speak during this event. The seminar will be followed by a networking session.
